In conclusion, there is a great range of people and processes involved in book illustration. It seems like self-promotion (such as social media accounts) and being persistent are important to get a job within the practice.

Also, as illustrators we need to pay more mind to where our papers come from and if they are sustainable as possible and if we are doing little things to help such as making sure we recycle.
